Here’s how to send him a message:

  1. Download the Getting Out app on your phone.

    iOS | Android

  2. Create a profile.

  3. Look for my bro through his booking #: BK9023 (Name: Young Tak)

  4. Choose the prison — CDCR, California Correctional Institution (CCI)

  5. Add him to chat.

  6. Load up the app with money. (Each text is 5 cents.)

Note: After some of you reached out to my bro (THANK YOU), he sent me a message saying he doesn’t need pen pals. I told him to be more open-minded about talking to new people, and while he understands the nice intentions behind messaging him, he said, “I don’t like responding to people I don’t know well.” So if you choose to message him, (please do!) just know that he may not respond. 😞
